Iran has the largest fleet of military helicopters in West Asia

Yousef Qorbani, the commander of the Airborne Division of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated that Iran has the most powerful fleet of military helicopters in West Asia, equipped with sophisticated ammunition, and it is designed for quick operations in real battles. According to "Detq", the Iranian state news agency “IRNA” informs about this.

Qorbani said that the unit led by him has reached a high level of combat capability, despite the sanctions imposed by the West. In this context, he praised the Iranian military experts and technical specialists for producing a wide variety of helicopter components and noted that the combat helicopters operated by the army's airborne unit have been equipped with modern equipment.

The commander of the Airborne Division of the Ground Forces of the Iranian Army noted that the Iranian military helicopters are armed with long-range and fire-and-forget missiles, which gives them the ability to operate with high precision. According to him, after launch, these missiles can destroy enemy targets in just three seconds.

The latter added that most of the Iranian military helicopters were equipped with modern night vision systems. "Iranian helicopters now have the same sophisticated technology that is present in all advanced helicopters in the world," he concluded.
