The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijarto, noted that Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Hungary.

"Despite global economic difficulties, Hungary has recorded an excellent export record in recent years. Although we are the 95th in the world in terms of population, we are in the 34th place in terms of exports," said P. Ciyarton.

According to the minister, the difficult economic conditions have clearly shown that in many cases it is possible to increase the volume of exports by establishing production in the country where the products are supplied.

"Azerbaijan is one of those target countries, it is our strategic partner, our relations with this state are based on mutual respect. Excellent conditions are created here for the activity of Hungarian companies," he wrote.
