No vehicle passed through Askeran police checkpoint to Akna. Republic of Artsakh, Ministry of Internal Affairs

Another misinformation is being spread on the Facebook social network that Red Cross employees are carrying humanitarian aid from Akna (Aghdam) through the city of Askeran, accompanied by Russian peacekeepers.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs assures that no means of transportation passed through the police checkpoint of Askeran city to Akna, let alone humanitarian cargoes.

At the same time, the Ministry urges not to pay tribute to unspecified information and refrain from divisive and slanderous actions.

Officers of the Askeran regional police department are on duty around the clock at the checkpoint, keeping the traffic of Askeran city and neighboring settlements under constant observation. The Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Artsakh Republic issued a statement about this.
