Iran respects the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Abdullahi

Hossein Amir Abdollahian, 6the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that Iran respects the territorial integrity of any country, including Ukraine. According to "Detq", the Iranian state news agency IRNA informs about this.

Abdollahian also noted that Tehran emphasizes the need for an early end to the war through political dialogue.

At the same time, Iran's Foreign Minister expressed displeasure that Russia signed a summary declaration based on the results of the strategic dialogue with the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf, which contained an anti-Iranian clause. He emphasized that the Iranian side will not accept the repetition of such practices by Moscow towards it.

"After summoning the Russian ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we received clarifications from the Russian authorities, but we do not consider them sufficient. We will not accept the repetition of such actions by Russia or any other country in the matter of territorial integrity of Iran," he concluded.

Although official Tehran declares that it is against the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict and does not supply weapons to any of the parties, there are many accusations against Iran that the country actually supports Russia. Against the background of Tehran's support to Moscow, the Iranian side considers it unacceptable that the Russian Federation joined the aforementioned document containing anti-Iranian language.
