Nasser Kanaani, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that Iran supports the new round of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. According to "Detq", the Iranian state news agency IRNA informs about this.
At the same time, Kanaani reaffirmed Tehran's willingness to establish stable peace in the South Caucasus. According to him, Iran supports the peaceful process of resolving differences between its two neighbors.
"The Foreign Minister of Armenia arrived in Tehran within the framework of bilateral relations in response to the visit of his Iranian counterpart to Yerevan," he said.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of Iran said that the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Iran will discuss cooperation in the fields of energy, economy and consular services.
