The Islamic Republic of Iran attaches importance to ensuring regional stability, because it is well aware that its enemies will take advantage of the unstable situation to attack Iran. For this very purpose, the Iranian side also supports the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement process, which should be based on the mutual recognition of the territorial integrity of the two countries.
