Iran and Azerbaijan have come to terms on operating the Astarachai bridge
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mehrdad Bazrpash, had a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev. According to "Detq", the Iranian "ParsToday" news agency informs about this.
It is reported that during the telephone conversation, the parties agreed to speed up the works related to the reconstruction of the Astarachai bridge and to complete them as soon as possible. Bazrpash and Mustafaev decided that the bridge will be commissioned in the next four months.
Apart from that, the development of Iranian-Azerbaijani relations was emphasized on both sides during the telephone conversation.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development and the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan have agreed to continue regular bi-weekly phone calls until the agreements reached are fully implemented.
