About 2.5 billion drams have been allocated to the Ministry of Defense to finance unforeseen priority expenses.

The meeting on July 27, the government decided to redistribute in the 2023 budget law and allocate around 2.5 billion drams to the Ministry of Defense.

In the justification of the decision, it is mentioned that the need arose in 2023 for the provision of current activities and the acquisition of non-financial assets to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia to direct 2,521,948.1 thousand drams to the financing of priority expenses not foreseen by the state budget.

According to the draft decision, redistribution is planned, which will be aimed at meeting the needs of the RA Armed Forces.
