There was supposed to be a meeting between Stepanakert and Baku tomorrow, but Azerbaijan refused. Tigran Petrosyan, the chairman of the Anti-Crisis Council attached to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, announced this live on Facebook.

"You know that Baku has tried several times to force a person from Artsakh to go to Baku or Evlakh for so-called negotiations. If they're forcing something like that, I can imagine the conversation going on there. Against this background, Europe and the US are trying to organize a meeting in a third country. On August 1, there was supposed to be a meeting between the NGOs of Artsakh and Azerbaijan, initially in Sofia," said Petrosyan.

According to him, then Russia, knowing all that, entered the game and tried to advance. "And on the 25th of the month, Lavrov organized a meeting, during which he called us a "national minority", which is unacceptable, and showed the current policy of the Russian government."

Petrosyan gave details that a meeting between the representatives of Azerbaijan and Artsakh was supposed to take place in Bratislava on August 1 with the mediation of the USA and Europe, but Azerbaijan refused to attend the meeting 2 days ago without reason.

"Tomorrow or the next day, foreign representatives will arrive in Yerevan, and there will be some discussions. The discussions will end, I will present what proposals and discussions have taken place.

But I also want to present the behavior of Moscow. Moscow is currently proposing to go to the Evlakh meeting, that is, Moscow is organizing a meeting in Azerbaijan, when Baku started kidnapping people who participated in the liberation struggle, we saw the example of Vagif Khachatryan. Under these circumstances, Moscow's proposal is a mockery of us," Petrosyan noted.

According to him, they are currently waiting for the offers of the USA and Europe. They will bring them together and decide what to do.
