Blinken talked with Aliyev

Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State talked to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, expressing deep concern about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. The American official made a note about this on his Twitter page.

"Yesterday, I spoke with President Aliyev of Azerbaijan to express our deep concern about the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Nagorno-Karabakh. The United States urges all parties to continue dialogue to reach a lasting peace agreement," the US Secretary of State wrote.

Reminder: on July 13, the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken talked with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, talking about the need for free movement through the Lachin Corridor.
