Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran intend to create an international transport corridor
During a video conference, the representatives of Uzbekistan's transport and Iran's Ministry of Roads and Urban Development discussed issues related to the signing of the agreement on the international transport corridor, "Trend" reports.
During the meeting, the issues of speeding up the signing of the agreement on the creation of an international transport corridor between the governments of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran were discussed.
The parties also referred to the possibility of reducing fees for international road transport through the territory of Iran and using the Iranian ports of Bandar Abbas and Chabahor for the transportation of export and import cargo.
