Maintaining the missile force is the priority of the Ministry of Defense of Iran

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Reza Talaynik, stated that the strengthening of missile power is the priority of the ministry. According to "Detq", the Iranian "ParsToday" news agency informs about this.

Reza Talaynik emphasized that Iran has not initiated and will not initiate any war. According to his belief, Iran's armed forces are a superior defense force in the region, although the country's policy is to be a restraining force in the region.

Referring to the process of equipping the country's naval forces with the "Abu Mahdi" cruise missile, he noted that this missile, the range of which exceeds 1000 kilometers, can destroy any target. The latter drew attention to the fact that the missile has multiplied the coverage radius of Iran's naval defense, covering the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman and part of the Indian Ocean.

"Those who intend to destabilize the region should change their decision," he said.

The spokesman of the Iranian Defense Ministry added that the range of Iranian missiles is proportional to the threats.
