Iran considers Armenia to be part of its overall security. Iranian-Armenian MP

Armenian deputy of the Mejlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Robert Beglaryan, referred to the Armenian-Iranian relations. According to "Detq", Beglaryan said this in an interview with "First News".

The Iranian-Armenian deputy emphasized that there was a perception that Iran's attention towards the Republic of Armenia has decreased. He drew attention to the fact that Iran's attention on the Caucasus has become more pronounced and concentrated.

"Iran sees Armenia in the background of its comprehensive security, which is not only a matter of the neighboring state. Iran is concerned that other countries will play a role in the region," he said.

At the same time, Beglaryan reminded that Iran supports the "3+3" format of regional cooperation. He reaffirmed that regional problems should be solved exclusively with the participation of the member states of that region, and the participation of extra-regional actors in this matter is unacceptable.

Changes in regional borders are absolutely unacceptable for Iran, because Tehran is very well aware that this process is primarily directed against it. The Iranian-Armenian MP naturally supports Iran's official point of view on this issue, which is also in Armenia's interests.
