It is unacceptable that the ICRC office in Karabakh is subordinate to the administration of Yerevan, not Baku. Aliev
Ilham Aliyev, in an interview with "Euronews" TV channel, considered it unacceptable that the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Artsakh is still subordinated not to Baku, but to the committee's Yerevan department.
"Unfortunately, until now their department in Karabakh is subordinated not to Baku, but to the Yerevan department of the committee. This is unacceptable, because the whole world recognizes Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan. Even the Prime Minister of Armenia has repeatedly said that Karabakh is Azerbaijan. We have the right to legally ask why the administration of the Red Cross Committee in Stepanakert (ed.) is subordinate to the administration of Yerevan, not Baku," Aliyev was quoted as saying by "Minval" news agency.
