The Turkish Foreign Minister and the US Secretary of State also discussed the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement process
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation with his American counterpart, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. According to "Detq", the Turkish state "Anadolu" news agency informs about this, referring to the press service of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Official Ankara reports that the telephone conversation was initiated by the American side.
During the telephone conversation, the heads of the foreign political departments of Turkey and the USA discussed the developments taking place in the South Caucasus region, as well as the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement process. The parties discussed the issues of security in the Black Sea, as well as the further expansion of NATO.
Fidan and Blinken also exchanged ideas on the restoration of the Black Sea grain initiative, from which the Russian side withdrew on July 17.
