Baku blamed Spain for helping people displaced from Artsakh to Armenia

The Spanish International Development Cooperation Organization will support a thousand people displaced from Artsakh to Armenia. An Armenian post about this was published on the official X social network page of the Spanish Embassy in the Russian Federation.

"The Spanish Organization for International Development Cooperation (AECID) activates its humanitarian action "We fight against hunger" (Acontraelhambre) to help 1,000 people displaced in Armenia due to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict," the message reads.

Aykhan Hajizadeh, press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, condemned Spain's "anti-Azerbaijani" move.

"It is strange to see how a country is fighting separatism in its own territory, while at the same time supporting separatism in other countries. Spain's encouragement of the illegal separatist regime established by Armenia in the sovereign territory of Azerbaijan is unacceptable. We strongly condemn this non-constructive approach," Hajizadeh wrote in X.
