Baku responded to Buyar Osmani's call to ensure free passage through the Lachin Corridor
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan responded to the call of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the Foreign Minister of North Macedonia, Buyar Osmani, to ensure free passage through the Lachin Corridor and again asserted that this road is open.
"Like any other country, the border crossing is well regulated in Azerbaijan, and there is no such thing as "free passage" anywhere," said Aykhan Hajizade, the spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
Remember that Buyar Osmani called on the authorities of Azerbaijan to open Lachin Corridor and other routes.
"As the acting chairman of the OSCE, I asked my personal representative Andrzej Kasprzyk to visit the Lachine region and report to me on the current situation. My appeal is to ensure free passage through the Lachine corridor," Osmani wrote on X.
