The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan started an investigation into the abducted minors two years ago

The Azerbaijanis reported the kidnapping of three minors from the Lachin checkpoint. According to publications, the detained minors are athletes of the "Martuni Avo" football team, who "disrespected the flag of Azerbaijan".
The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan noted that in 2021, videos were spread in some media where Armenian football players made insulting actions against the flag of Azerbaijan, in connection with which an investigation was started under two articles of the Criminal Code.
"On December 14, 2021, the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan started an investigation into the fact of initiating a criminal case under Article 283 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan," the statement said.
It is noted that, taking into account the age of the accused in the case, Baku can only bring them to administrative responsibility, but insists that they should be deported to Armenia.
"It is assumed that Azerbaijan will show a humanistic approach, and taking into account that the arrested are young and athletes, they may be subject to administrative responsibility. In any case, people who insult the flag of Azerbaijan cannot live in the territory of Azerbaijan. They should be deported to Armenia," the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan announced.

It should be noted that the collection of data on minors started two years ago. What happened was planned long ago by the Azerbaijani junta.
