The presidents of Turkey and Russia discussed the situation in the South Caucasus

As we informed, the presidents of Turkey and Russia met today in Sochi.

"We discussed the situation in the South Caucasus, Syria and Libya," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a press conference held in Sochi with Vladimir Putin.

This is reported by the Azerbaijani "Report" website, according to "Detq".

The President of Turkey stated that they want the (Russian-Ukrainian) war to end as soon as possible with a "just peace". He added that official Ankara continues its efforts for this.

Erdogan stated that the negotiations with Putin on the "grain deal" will be significant for the world and African countries.

"Last year, the trade turnover between Moscow and Ankara increased by 86 percent, this year the positive trend continues, the relations between Russia and Turkey are developing at a fast pace," Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
