"Zangezur Corridor" can be opened without the participation of Armenia. Bayramov
Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan gave an interview to "Azertac" agency and "Magyar Demokrata" Hungarian periodical.
According to "Detq", Azerbaijani "Azertac" news agency informs about this.
"Unfortunately, almost three years after the signing of the tripartite statement, the illegal military units were not withdrawn. They are under the patronage of the Armenian side and are financed from the state budget. We are confident that the peace agenda must continue, and we are determined to complete that process. "The preparation of the final text of the agreement must also be completed, and it must be based on the norms of international law," Bayramov noted.
He said that such an approach will deprive Yerevan of another opportunity to put the economy in order, because the road may simply bypass Armenia. Azerbaijan, as a country with a "B" plan, will continue to work in this direction. For him, the project ("Opening of Zangezur Corridor" - ed.) can be implemented without Armenia's participation, but in this case, Yerevan will suffer from it.
On September 1, Azerbaijan opened intense fire, including from mortars, towards the Armenian positions located in the Sotk sector. The Armenian side had 3 victims and 2 wounded. And the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan continues to insist on the "peace" agenda, blame the Armenian side and make threats that the opening of the so-called "Zangezur Corridor" can be carried out without the participation of Armenia.
Let's remind that the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are located in the sovereign territory of Armenia and regularly resort to provocations.
