This cannot be interpreted as tension with the Russian side. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
There are disagreements and discussions, this cannot be interpreted as tension with the Russian side. Responding to the question about the tension with the Russian side, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan said today, September 7, in a conversation with journalists.
"We have working relations with Russia, as we have with other partners. Disagreements, discussions, it does not mean that it can be interpreted as tension. Discussions on various issues are going on in the working order," Hovhannisyan noted.
When asked whether Armenia is now considering withdrawing from CSTO, the Deputy Foreign Minister said: "You know how the announcements are going on that issue, we have addressed that issue. We criticize the CSTO regarding a number of issues, but now that issue is not on our agenda."
