Baku called on Paris not to interfere in their affairs
Official Baku considered unacceptable the opinions expressed by Anne Claire Legendre, press secretary of the French Foreign Ministry during the September 12 press conference, which, according to them, do not serve peace and stability in the region. According to Aykhan Hajizadeh, press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan has the right to send its forces to its sovereign territory for military exercises, as well as to ensure border security, and interference in these steps is unacceptable. Hajizade referred to the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace negotiations and the treaty.
"Regarding the draft agreement on establishing peace and interstate relations, the Azerbaijani side promptly submitted its comments to the Armenian side," the press secretary said.
