Erdogan disclosed details of the telephone conversation with Pashinyan

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, gave details about the telephone conversation held on September 11 with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan. According to "Detq", the Turkish state "Anadolu" news agency informs that Erdogan spoke about this while returning from Nakhichevan, during a press conference with journalists on the plane.

It is reported that the President of Turkey referred to the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.

Erdogan stated that during a phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, he said that Turkey is waiting for Armenia to show strong will instead of delaying the process.

"Progress in relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia will speed up the regional settlement. We will continue to work with Azerbaijan for stability, peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus," Erdogan said.

The telephone conversation between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Turkey took place at the initiative of the latter, after the election of Samvel Shahramanyan as the President of Artsakh. In this telephone conversation, Erdogan stated that the election of a new president in Artsakh is unacceptable for Turkey and Azerbaijan.
