Azerbaijan demands compensation of 100 billion dollars from Armenia. Turkish media

Azerbaijan is currently demanding 100 billion dollars in compensation from Armenia for peace. According to "Detq", the pro-government Turkish news agency "Super Haber" published an article about this, referring to the current developments in the South Caucasus.

The media referred to its "reliable sources" and noted that among the peace conditions offered by Azerbaijan to Armenia, the so-called "compensation issue" occupies a key place. Baku demands compensation from Yerevan "for keeping its territories occupied for 30 years".

At the same time, the Turkish media emphasized that if Armenia does not pay this compensation, then Azerbaijan will demand the whole of Zangezur, as well as Lake Sevan.

Still in 2020, after the 44-day Artsakh war, similar publications regularly appear in the Turkish media. Initially, it was about compensation of 50 billion dollars, but as a result of current realities, the ambitions of the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem have increased.
