The Republic of Artsakh will cease to exist. a decree was signed

Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan in 2023 signed a decree on the actions arising from the situation created after September 19.

According to the decree, in connection with the difficult military-political situation, based on the priority of ensuring the physical security and vital interests of the people of Artsakh, taking into account the agreement reached through the mediation of the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces, in agreement with the representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the freedom of the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, including military personnel who have laid down their weapons , voluntary and unhindered passage is ensured by their property on cars along the Lachin Corridor and guided by Article 93 of the Constitution of NK, a decision was made:

By January 1, 2024, dissolve all state institutions and organizations of departmental subordination, and the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) ceases to exist.
After the entry into force of this decree, the population of Nagorno-Karabakh, including the population outside the Republic, gets acquainted with the reintegration conditions presented by the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to make an independent and individual decision about the possibility of staying (returning) to Nagorno-Karabakh in the future.

This decree enters into force immediately after its publication.
