Iran does not rule out that it can enter the ongoing war in Gaza
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, did not rule out that Tehran could be involved in the ongoing war between Israel and Gaza. According to "Detq", the Iranian state news agency IRNA informs about this.
Abdollahian emphasized that preventive measures are possible from the resistance front in the near future. He recalled his meetings with the leaders of the resistance, including the general secretary of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah.
"There are all possible options and scenarios for Hezbollah. In their calculations, everything was taken into account correctly, and the leaders of the resistance will not allow the Zionist regime (Israel-ed.) to take any steps in the region. Any proactive step is possible in the coming hours," he said.
Iran's chief diplomat emphasized that all the leaders of the resistance are of the opinion that they will provide a political solution, but "any action is possible" if Israel continues its war crimes against the civilian population. He assured that the resistance front is capable of long-term wars, and the expansion of the ongoing conflict will change the map of Israel.
Abdollahian drew attention to the fact that during the conversations with the partners of the Islamic countries, they came to the conclusion that if the limited capabilities of the UN are not used, the possibility of opening new fronts against the regime is inevitable. He added that Iran does not support the expansion of the conflict, but it is possible that the country enters the war, because no side can remain indifferent to the created situation.

Despite such statements, we believe that the Iranian side will be afraid to get directly involved in this war, because it can have extremely serious consequences. It is most likely that Tehran will involve other armed factions enjoying its support in this conflict, which can change the course of developments.
