"Currently, according to my information, there are no troop accumulations on the border of Armenia," NA Deputy Hakob Arshakyan announced in a conversation with journalists. According to him, any aggression towards the sovereign territory of Armenia receives its response.

Emphasizing that recently there have been positive developments, especially from the point of view of rhetoric, the deputy emphasized at the same time that he gives a complete assessment of the situation as of now.

"To say that everything is wonderful and there is no danger, I did not say such a thing. All I said is that at the moment such a fact is not known, that there is an accumulation of troops around Armenia. It should also be taken into account that Azerbaijani-Turkish military exercises were taking place recently, that is, the general tension in the region is, by and large, present," said Arshakyan.

According to the ruling deputy, any conflict situation can be resolved if the parties have sufficient willingness.

"If you ask me whether our enemy has sufficient readiness, I tell you that the steps have not been sufficient until now. If they were sufficient, the peace agreement would have been signed now," Arshakyan said.
