The State Department referred to Azerbaijan's refusal to meet with Armenia in Washington

The United States continues to support the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, stated the press secretary of the US Department of State, Matthew Miller, during a briefing on November 16, commenting on Baku's refusal to participate in the meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington.

"We continue to support peace negotiations to solve the problems between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

We encourage both countries to participate in those negotiations, whether in the US or elsewhere, and we will continue that policy," the spokesperson said.

Remember that Baku refused to participate in the meeting in Washington on November 20 at the level of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
