We are ready to exchange Azerbaijanis convicted in RA with our captives. Pashinyan

The issue of prisoners is our daily focus. I must regret that this issue is being used for political purposes, which is not logical. We expressed our willingness and express our flexibility in this matter to work with Azerbaijan so that the captives return. negotiation is one way. We have even expressed our willingness to exchange Azerbaijani persons convicted in RA with captives on the principle of all for all. Nikol Pashinyan said this while answering citizens' video questions on live air, addressing the question of what steps the Government is taking to return our compatriots who are in captivity.

According to Pashinyan, the second direction is legal approaches. They apply to the ECHR and possible legal instances, they have decisions to apply urgent measures in a number of cases, and, of course, one of the directions is the international response, the attention of the international community.

"This work cannot be enough until our brothers return, I am also not satisfied that we are not able to record results until now, but this should not discourage us, I want to apologize to the families of our captured brothers and to them as well. Let me remind you that more than a hundred prisoners have returned since 2020," said the Prime Minister.
