The peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not yet ready for signing, there is no final draft. The hope is that the text of the agreement will be finalized at the meeting of foreign ministers to be expected in January. Edmon Marukyan, ambassador with special assignments, said this on the air of Public TV.

He also noted that all conditions mentioned in the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020 are no longer valid.

"There is a wrong impression that if the negotiations are going on in the USA, Brussels or Moscow, then they are the guarantor, but this is not the case. The mechanism of the guarantor must be documented, it must specify all the conditions in case of a dispute between the parties," said Marukyan.
