It is not in the interests of RA to stop membership in CIS, EAEU, CSTO. Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the termination of Armenia's membership in the CIS, EAEU and CSTO is not in Armenia's interests. According to "Detq", the Russian TASS news agency reports that Putin said this during his big press conference at the end of the year.
"I don't think it is in Armenia's interest to somehow terminate membership in the CIS, EAEU, CSTO, although in the end, it is the state's choice," he said.
Referring to the absence of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the last meetings of the mentioned organizations, the Russian president attributed this fact to the internal developments in Armenia.
"As far as we know, this is due to the internal processes taking place in Armenia and is not related to the desire or lack of desire to work in these integration structures. Let's see how the situation will develop," Putin said.

It has been a long time since the Armenian authorities at the highest level have been boycotting the meetings taking place in the formats led by Russia, because they claim that the aforementioned structures do not properly fulfill their obligations towards Armenia. Despite all this, we believe that Armenia still does not plan to terminate its membership in the mentioned organizations, as this may cause many additional problems for the country.
