Erdogan discussed with Blinken the situation in Gaza and the supply of F-16s

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed a number of issues with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, including the situation in Gaza, the transfer of F-16 to Ankara, Swedish, NATO.

"The Secretary of State stressed the need to prevent the expansion of hostages, the expansion of humanitarian aid, and reducing the number of casualties in the civilian population, as well as to achieve strong and steady peace in the region," the State Department said in a statement.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Blinken. The parties discussed the situation in Gaza, issues of regional and international agenda.
