RA will transfer 8 new land registers of minefields to Azerbaijan. NSS

In the coming days, 8 new logs of minefields will be transferred to the Azerbaijani side through working pipes. RA National Security Service issued a statement about this.

"The Republic of Armenia, expressing its commitment to the peace agenda with Azerbaijan and based on humanitarian considerations, on June 12, July 3, October 19, November 1 and November 29, 2021, transferred the AH to the representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan without preconditions. 972 logs (forms) of minefields in the territory.

Following this unilateral humanitarian move, the Republic of Azerbaijan launched an information campaign accusing the Republic of Armenia of providing inaccurate and incomplete logs and using the humanitarian move to incite hatred.

Representatives of the Republic of Armenia have repeatedly stated at the public and working levels that there are simply no better quality maps at the disposal of the Republic of Armenia. And the transferred maps were obtained through NK servicemen.

Recently, after several reports by the Azerbaijani media about the physical injuries of Armenian citizens from the explosion of a mine and in continuation of the agreement reached on December 7, 2023, as a result of the negotiations between the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, that is, to take tangible steps to build trust between the two states. In this direction, the National Security Service of RA has resumed survey work among ex-servicemen of Nagorno-Karabakh, as a result of which 8 new logs have appeared.

Those logs will be transferred to the Azerbaijani side through working channels in the coming days. Their copies will be transferred to international partners," the message of the NSS stated.
