The main resource should be directed to the army, otherwise the consequences will be very severe. Tigran Abrahamyan

The Minister of Defense announced a few days ago that several thousand servicemen of the armed forces have passed the attestation and receive the highest salary, but he "forgot" to mention that even more than that number did not pass the threshold. Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the "I have honor" faction, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"And this, by the way, in the case that it is still being carried out on a voluntary basis, I am especially appealing to trained servicemen.

It is mandatory for servicemen who are promoted.

Moreover, for objective and subjective reasons, 1-1.3 years after the adoption of the law on attestation, a small part of the army was able to participate in that process.

I continue to insist that even within the framework of that law, if an appropriate order was established, it was possible to get a certain result, but as in other issues, the government is going the slowest, worst way.

Based on the priorities of the armed forces and the defense of the country, if we put aside the attestation, then as a step that requires urgency, we should at least go the way of significantly increasing (about 50 thousand) the premiums of the personnel performing combat duty, otherwise the existing acute problems will reach such a volume that they they will not solve even the smallest problems facing the army.

Here I am not talking so much about salary increase as a motivation, but about the opportunity to solve the minimum problems of servicemen and their families, under which conditions not only normal "maintenance" will be achieved, but the serviceman will have the opportunity to focus on service, not on hard life.

Today, the main resource should be directed to the army, both for immediate and long-term plans. If this is not done in parallel, the consequences will be very severe," the deputy wrote.
