Baku expects concrete maps of mined areas from Armenia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan once again complained about "mines planted by the Armenian side", declaring that "the failure of international partners to force Yerevan to eliminate this threat is causing more casualties and injuries".
According to Baku, since November 2020, 343 people have been killed by a mine explosion.
Earlier yesterday, Azerbaijan reported that a citizen's leg was amputated when a landmine exploded in Terter region.
In January, the National Security Service of Armenia announced that it was going to hand over to Azerbaijan eight newly discovered minefield maps.
The Azerbaijani side, however, responded harshly to this statement, stressing that it expects Armenia to present concrete maps of all mine-covered areas.
