Biden's adviser refused to answer a question about striking Iran
The US President's National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan did not answer the question about the possibility of direct strikes on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to "Detq", Sullivan said this in an interview with the American NBC TV channel.
During the interview, interviewer Kristen Welker asked Sullivan if the US ruled out striking inside Iran.
"Well, sitting here today on the national news program, I'm not going to go into detail about what we've accepted and what we've excluded in terms of military operations. What I will say is that the president is determined to respond decisively to attacks on our people. "The president also does not seek a wider war in the Middle East," the official said.
The official did not answer the host's clarifying question whether the possibility of striking inside Iran is being discussed. "Again, Kristen, sitting here, it would be unwise on television to talk about what we're considering or excluding."
When Welker asked again: "So you wouldn't rule it out," Sullivan replied. "I'll just say the same thing again."
The official added that he did not want to elaborate on what is being discussed and what is not being discussed when it comes to the American response.

After the attack on the American military base in Jordan, the danger of a direct confrontation between the United States and Iran has increased. Both Iran and the USA are aware of this, and they are trying to prevent this development in every possible way, because its consequences will be disastrous for the whole world.
