Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a message to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in connection with the earthquakes that occurred in Turkey on February 6, 2023.

According to Aliyev, Azerbaijan has mobilized all its possibilities to fulfill its fraternal duty.

In this context, the President of Azerbaijan stated that as Turkey has been by Azerbaijan's side in good and bad times, Azerbaijan has always been and will be by Turkey's side, then noted. "...because we are one nation, two states. I am confident that thanks to your leadership, Turkish people's fighting determination, spirit of solidarity and strong will, the powerful Turkish state will quickly overcome these difficulties, come out of this bitter test with honor and greater strength."
