The role of Russia in the dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan has no alternative. According to "News.am", this was announced by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Mikhail Galuzin in an interview on the "Rossiya-24" TV channel.

Galuzin commented on the conflict settlement process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He noted that Russia's task today is to help both countries in their search for reconciliation and peaceful cooperation.

"Under the auspices of Russia, at the initiative of President Vladimir Putin, the foundations of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan were established," the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation emphasized. He emphasized that Russia provides assistance regarding the entire complex of issues related to the conclusion of the peace treaty. Galuzin added that the Russian side is in possession of materials necessary for Azerbaijani-Armenian border demarcation.

The diplomat expressed hope that Armenia will return to the tripartite settlement process instead of involving foreign players. He also noted that Moscow is always ready to provide a platform for dialogue.
