
There were new appointments and dismissals in the RA Armed Forces
RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on appointing Karen Grigoryan as the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, releasing him from the position of the Chief of the General Directorate of the Engineering Troops of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
By the decree of the President, Temur Shahnazaryan was appointed as the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces General Staff of the Operational General Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, being released from the position of the Head of the Department of Communications and Automated Management Systems of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
By another decree of the President, Vigen Mkrtchyan was appointed the head of the Department of Communications and Automated Management Systems of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
By another decree, Vachagan Nersesyan was dismissed from the position of the head of the combat training department of the main training department of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. Davit Aleksanyan was appointed to that position.
By another presidential decree, Armen Seyranyan was appointed the head of the strategic planning department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
The commander of the Peacekeeping Forces brigade was also changed by the presidential decree. Hamlet Levonyan was appointed to that position.
