Two Turkish citizens crossed the RA state border with fake documents. IC

In 2024 On February 20, Turkish citizens I.K., E.Y. and RA citizen A.M. were found and arrested from different addresses in Yerevan. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

I.K. and E.Y. illegally crossed the RA state border and entered Armenia through the "Bagratashen" check point, illegally, without prescribed documents and proper permission, and RA citizen A.M apparently assisted them to E.Y.'s use of a false document and illegal crossing of the state border.

The investigator brought charges against I.K and E.Y., RA citizen A.M. Motions have been filed with the court to impose preventive detention against the accused.

Turkish citizens I.K. and E.Y. were detained, and in relation to A.M., by the court's decision, house arrest and the ban on absence were chosen as preventive measures.

The investigation is ongoing.
