The Speaker of the Turkish Parliament referred to the "Zangezur Corridor"

Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus met with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

Kurtulmush stated that the memorandum of understanding on the establishment of Turkey-Azerbaijan University is an important step, it shows that the goals of cooperation do not remain on paper.

This is reported by the Turkish "Anadolu" state news agency.

Noting that cooperation continues in all areas, especially defense industry and economy, Kurtulmus said that implementation of joint projects in a short time is important for the region.

According to him, the most important issue in the near future is the opening of the "Zangezur Corridor". Kurtulmush expressed the opinion that the opening of the corridor will strengthen trade relations with the countries of the region.
