Zakir Hasanov discussed the situation on the border with Armenia with the Deputy Minister of Defense of Turkey

On February 27, Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov met the delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Defense of Turkey Shuai Alpa in Azerbaijan.

Z. Hasanov, noting that bilateral relations between the two countries are based on friendly and brotherly relations, emphasized the importance of such meetings from the point of view of further expansion of military cooperation.

He spoke about the operative conditions of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, as well as the "reforms" being carried out in the Azerbaijani army under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

At the meeting, which was also attended by the Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Jahit Bagj, the prospects for the development of regional military cooperation, security and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
