Azerbaijan-Iran tension. Iranian citizens were detained

The Coast Guard of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan arrested persons who violated the sea border of Azerbaijan.

"Report" informs about this.

According to the Azerbaijani side, the "Shahdagh" border guard ship detected an unknown target moving south in the direction of Alat in the Azerbaijani part of the Caspian Sea. The coast guard officers took operational measures, as a result of which the vessel equipped with a "Yamaha-200" engine and two members of the vessel's crew were seized and arrested.

The persons detained for violating the sea border are citizens of Iran.
