Yerevan ratified the agreement on the status of the EU mission in Armenia

The Armenian Parliament ratified the agreement on the status of the EU mission in Armenia with 57 votes in favor, 0 against and 27 abstentions.

The document regulates the functions of the observation mission and grants them immunity.

European observers have been observing the Armenian-Azerbaijani border since 2022, at that time there were 40 people in the mission. Now there are already 138 observers, until September they will have 209 members.
