The air force units of the Turkish Armed Forces carried out air attacks in the north of Iraq

According to the announcement of the Turkish Defense Ministry, the Air Force units of the Turkish Armed Forces have carried out air attacks in the north of Iraq.

It is noted that the actions were directed against the military-political organization "Kurdistan Labor Party" recognized by them as terrorist.

During the operations, 27 targets were destroyed in the provinces of Metina, Zap, Hakurk, Gara and Qandil in Iraq, which, according to the Turkish side, were used as shelters and hideouts by PKK members.
