Iran has warned of the possibility of Israeli attacks against Palestinian worshipers

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, warned that the Zionist regime may attack Palestinian worshipers in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan. According to "Detq", the information is reported by Iran's pro-government "Mehr" news agency.

In his address to the heads of Islamic countries, Raisi noted that the Gaza genocide and the war are the most serious problems of the Islamic world today. According to him, one of the goals of the criminal Israeli regime is to destroy the Palestinian identity and civilization and deport the Palestinians living in Gaza and the West Bank of the Jordan River to neighboring countries.

The Iranian president emphasized that Israel is advancing the policy of destroying the identity of Palestinians with the support of the United States. According to him, international organizations, including the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the International Criminal Court, are responsible for preventing the genocide in Gaza.

"In this sensitive situation and during the holy month of Ramadan, Iran once again emphasizes the need to prevent the genocide and bring the Zionist criminals to justice," he said.

It should be reminded that recently Israeli soldiers blocked the road to Al-Aqsa Mosque and did not allow Palestinians to enter the mosque to pray.

The Islamic Resistance Movement has warned Israel about banning worshipers from entering the mosque, declaring that the Palestinians will not remain silent in the face of the occupation regime's actions.

Nowruz, the Iranian New Year, is one of the most important holidays in the Islamic Republic of Iran, during which thousands of Palestinians travel to Jerusalem for prayers. Last year, at this time, Israel attacked Palestinians praying there, which became one of the reasons for the start of the conflict in Gaza in October.
