Official Baku called on France not to interfere in Azerbaijan's internal affairs

"Azerbaijan calls on the Prime Minister of France to put an end to the provocative statements," said the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of that country, Aykhan Hajizade, commenting on Gabriel Atal's statements condemning the Azerbaijani attack against Nagorno Karabakh in September 2023.

"Azerbaijan's actions fully corresponded to the norms and principles of international law, as well as the resolutions adopted by the UN Security Council. Let us remind you that France is a permanent member of that council, - noted the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, adding, - once again, we call on France to learn from its own history and not to interfere in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan.
