Tigran Abrahamyan, deputy of the "I have honor" faction, writes on his Facebook page. "A few days ago, Ararat Mirzoyan announced that Armenia and Azerbaijan have voiced a position in front of each other, according to which each sees significant problems and obstacles in the constitution of the other for the establishment of long-term peace.

On the one hand, Mirzoyan confirmed the belief circulating in the political field for a long time that the government wants to change the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia at the request of Azerbaijan, but at the same time, he launched an approach that the Republic of Armenia has similar demands from Azerbaijan.

The reaction from Baku was not long in coming and the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, commenting on the statement, noted that "the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, legislative acts and other documents adopted by the parliament contain territorial claims against neighboring states, including Azerbaijan." The Constitution of Azerbaijan and other legislative acts do not contain territorial claims towards neighboring states and Armenia, therefore, attempts to draw parallels in this matter are unacceptable."

Now what do we have? On the one hand, the explanation of the RA government, in which our citizens do not have any confidence, on the other hand, the reaction of a hostile country to the fact that the statement of the RA official does not correspond to reality (the words of the enemy "like melted butter" are not acceptable).

The fact that the RA government confirms the Azerbaijani demand and its intention to change the RA Constitution is already a fact, but whether Azerbaijan will go for mirror constitutional changes, no actual process is noticeable in this regard.
