
Iraq wants to expand cooperation with Iran in all fields
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani stated that his country is interested in developing bilateral, regional and international cooperation with Iran during the tenure of the newly elected president of that country, Masoud Pezeshkian.According to "Detq", the Iranian "Tasnim" news agency informs about this.
Sudani congratulated Pezeshkian on his victory in the second round of the Iranian presidential elections and emphasized that Iraq is very optimistic about the expansion of bilateral cooperation with Iran at the regional and international levels. He highly appreciated the policy adopted by the newly elected president of Iran for the development of relations with the neighbors, noting that the Iraqi government attaches great importance to the relations with Iran.
Sudan expressed hope that under the new administration of Iran, the two countries will witness the further strengthening and deepening of their relations.
In turn, the newly elected president of Iran thanked Sudan for the congratulatory phone call and emphasized Iran's desire to expand cooperation and develop bilateral relations in many fields.
