In the village of Kirants, Tavush region, the construction of a stone wall along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border was completed a few days ago։ the wall is 150 meters long and 3 meters high. Karen Ghazaryan, a resident of Acharkut, told about this today, July 22, in a conversation with NEWS.am, noting that the wall stretches from the end of the former interstate road to the beginning of the newly built road.

"On the other side of the wall, the Azerbaijani base and the flag are already installed. The movement of Azerbaijani border guards is visible from any part of the village, including from the newly built road. A few days ago, work was being done there with a tractor, in the area where there used to be a car wash. Probably, they are building an observation post," said the resident of Acharkut.

According to him, residents are afraid to leave children alone in those parts of the village.
